Expanding Awareness, Joy and Intuition Through Applied Improvisation

Improvisation - sometimes referred to as Improv - is a state of being, co-creating action in the moment, without a script. Improv is taught mainly as a perfmormance art, but it can be applied to any aspect of work or life where spontaneity, creativity, collaboration, adaptability, flexibility and trust are needed. It is being used all over the world in business, academia, humanitarian organizations and community groups as a methodology for interaction and transformation. One critical element of improvisational work is status behavior. On this program, we will be exploring the differences and the connections between Status and Power. We will discuss these forces and examine how they impact relational behavior.

Pilgrim is for anyone who wants to cultivate those tools and keep them close by for the hard times."

Can astrology shed some light on the election, on current social and political currents? More generally, how can astrology speak to our own natures, and to our personal relationships?

Finding Meaning in Addiction and Recovery

Addiction and recovery are, at their core, about the meaning of life. Life on the Rocks is the first book to address addiction and recovery from a Western philosophical perspective, offering a powerful set of tools sharpened over millennia. Author Peg O'Connor, PhD introduces some of the core concepts and vexing questions of philosophy to help addicts and those affected by their addiction to examine and perhaps transform the meaning they make of their lives. Without assuming any familiarity with philosophy, Dr. O’Connor illuminates issues all addicts and their loved ones face: self-identity, moral responsibility, self-knowledge and self-deception, free will and determinism, fatalism, the nature of God, and their relations to others. Life on the Rocks is an indispensable guide to the deeply philosophical concerns at the heart of every addict’s struggle.

DIVORCE WARRIOR

You have the power to create a good or bad divorce. It’s important to understand this as soon as possible so you can make intelligent choices and avoid unnecessary damage. If you have children, you will be connected to your spouse forever, regardless of the divorce. A divorce will end the marital relationship, but it doesn’t end the parenting relationship. You will be together many times over the years, so limiting the damage done during your divorce is not only smart, it will make life easier for your children.
