In the Kitchen with Cathy Whims

In the food and restaurant industry, women don’t need the same courage as men. They need more. The Culinary Institute of America, the nation’s premier culinary school, didn’t accept women until 1970, but now 44% of its students (out of 3,000) are women. Leading the way for women is Portland, Oregon's Cathy Whims. She's considered a rockstar in a city that puts a high value and quality on their food scene. Cathy has been a leader in the restaurant world for over 30 years and is a six-time James Beard Award finalist. I can't wait to learn more about her courage muscles.
