Narcissism: Personality Disorder or Midlife Crisis

How do we navigate midlife well when many couples have been together for decades and suddenly they start to unravel with great distance between them as midlife approaches. This time in life is often named one's midlife crisis - which is understood through an insensitive selfishness that creates a great divide between two people, often leading to divorce.
