I’m often asked what it feels like to be a published author?
Let me just say it feels awesome!
To actually see all of my millions of hours of work – finally – in the form of a book, my book, was a truly moving and amazing sensation. And I surely hope to write more books, but I’m not one of those writers who cranks out books. With Feel Good Naked , I was like a crazy woman who couldn’t wait to tell every woman on the planet what I had figured out, while working in the wellness industry since 1982, about women and their bodies . I had discovered that female body hatred is not an exclusive epidemic, but a commonality among women. I published my 10 step program for fighting and ultimately beating this beast in 2001. I believe women deserve to embrace and accept their bodies in a world where we are constantly brain washed to feel otherwise. To feel good naked is every woman’s right and I’m going to continue to preach this message and help as many women as possible achieve this state of self-acceptance, peace and happiness. It is my calling, my mission and my passion.

One of my greatest moments during my book tour was walking into the huge Barnes and Noble on Broadway and 68th street in New York City, one block away from where I once lived and worked (I had since re-located to Portland, Oregon) and this is what I saw:
